isn't a secured card a prepaid card

Answer:

A secured card is a credit card that requires an upfront security deposit against the credit limit. So, with the secured credit card you make purchases on credit. These cards report to credit bureaus. What’s more, one day a secured card can be turned into an unsecured card.A prepaid card does not extend credit to you. There are no interest charges and late fees. With a prepaid card you use what you’ve loaded onto your card. These cards are an alternative to cash and checks.

My credit score with TransUnion is 693 yet I was turned down by Capitol One. Equifax & Experian have refused to add my mortgage account..Are there any cards I can apply for?

Answer:

According to your score of 693, your credit is good. If your score is somewhere between 660 and 749 it is considered to be good. Please look through our best credit cards aimed at good to excellent credit, compare their features and terms and choose a card to apply online for. But keep away from applying for too many credit cards during a short period of time, say, one or two credit card applications a month, not more, would be okay. Remember of hard hits that affect your credit score negatively.
